Superb quality and very nicely weighted round gearknob in a satin finish made by IL Motorsport in Germany. Features the six speed legend engraved into the top and the sporty R in red for reverse.Fits the following MX5 models with a 6 speed manual transmission only -Mk3 - 2005>2008Mk3.5 - 2008>2013Mk3.75 - 2013>2015Mk4 - 2015> including the RFPlease Note: This is NOT suitable for Mk2 or 2.5 six speed models as reverse is in a different place.

“Wow it looks even better than in the photo! Really classy and a perfect match to the interior. It's weighted which does help with the gear changing a bit. A lovely piece of engineering and quite subtle.”

“Weighty gear knob- to satin finish but inside thread looks more like brass. Yes it needed a small piece of plastic on top of the gearstick to get it to tighten down in the right location, love the fluted base so the gaiter pushes on too. Lovely piece of kit.”

“I must admit that I was a bit put off by the price but after looking on the internet I couldn't find anything as nice as this one. I ordered it and 2 days later it arrived, the first thing that struck me was the weight this is a quality item. There is a little neck at the bottom of the gear knob so it fits flush with the gator. It is just the right size and fits perfectly in the hand for a great gear change”

“Not cheap, but a lovely addition! Sits slightly lower than the OE knob and is a bit larger and heavier. To get the pattern in the correct position when the knob is tight required a small piece of stiff rubber secured inside the knob. The OE gear knob appears to have the same!”
