At Last! We are pleased to now be able to offer front upper suspension arm ball joints for the Mk1! These are not available separately from Mazda so until now your only option was to replace the complete arm. Well, not any more! These great quality ball joints feature an intergrated grease nipple on the top, and come supplied with a new castle nut, split pin and retaining circlip.Fits all Mk1 models, 1989>1998Please Note: To fit this, the old ball joint needs to be pressed out of the arm and the new one pressed in.

Utter rubbish. I bought a pair of these when overhauling the suspension on my MK1. The boot is to compressed when fitted and gets pinched against the UCA. Boot split within 3 months on the car. Going to but the MOOG joint from BOFI and see if that is any better.

Je n'ai même pas eu le temps de rouler avec la voiture que le soufflet était déjà fissuré, et cela des deux côtés.Il motorsport est à éviter sur toutes les pièces à leurs effigies

Boots split spectacularly on both sides after about a year. I had a feeling this might happen. If I were to guess, it's because the boots are far too big and are compressed ALOT once the nut is on. Not impressed.

I got these a couple of months ago when I changed my mk1 to power steering and after a couple days, noticed a bad knocking so assumed it was my power steering rack or the installation, been checking everything since and kept checking torque settings, realised just today the the rubber boot has split all down the back where I couldn't see too well, would not recommend at all

I replaced both right and left ball joints and both boots tore within a year. Was careful during installation, but possibly added too much grease? Boot is much thinner than oem mazda and not sold separately. Once again not impressed by IL products. Other brands are available but Oem is best meaning a complete new suspension arm.
