This is a great product. I had the Mazda version on my previous MX5 but I'd say this one works better. It's also cheaper. Fitting took ten minutes. No squeaks or rattles while driving.

what a difference this has made to the wind noise in the cab or should I say now lack of it, instant difference and even more at higher speeds! instructions were a bit of a pain due to the size of the photo copy, but got round this by ignoring them altogether and fitting the brackets to the acrylic first then marking up from that. still able to raise the soft top with ease and looks ten times better over stock, roadster etching is a great touch and looks epic in the rearview mirror.

Once fitted it looks OK and works well. Fitting is a bit fiddly and obviously you do need to make the odd hole in the trim - but I've been assured by MX5parts that the trim is available as a replacement part should you want to get rid of the windblocker. On the fitting, the instructions are photocopied. Not only does this make them almost illegible but it also makes the small photos useless. And, worst of all, the templates they suggest you use to drill the holes are the wrong size because of the photocopying processso don't use them otherwise you'll end up with loads of holes.

Arrived yesterday the 16/08 fitted it last night , looks good. The Important thing is not to rush as you are drilling into your new car, start with small drill bit first and work your way up to 10mm drill bit size. I also masked the style bar just in case you never know. Instruction are good in English & German if you follow to the letter you will be OK.If I have a concern it does not tell you what to use to keep it clean without scratching it. Quality wise it appears to be well made , but time will tell.
