The guys at IL Motorsport stood back and has a serious look at the interior of the MX-5 and came up with this amazing looking vintage style trim. Available in separate sections so you can do as much or as little as you like, this custom fit synthetic leather trim kit has been perfectly stitched in a 3.5cm square chequered finish to give it that truly authentic 60's vintage look. Each piece has been designed to fit perfectly using either existing trim clips or velcro to fix over the top of your existing carpet, and is made from a high quality fleece underlay, foam middle and then the stitched synthetic leather outer cover.Here we have the behind seat trim kit that fits along the front edge behind the drivers and passenger seats. “Looks good, but disappointed with it as NONE of the pre-punched holes lined up with any of the trim buttons on my 1993 Eunos. Also a shortage of hook fastener strips on the trim meant it was a loose and floppy fit. Luckily I had some double sided tape and, at the bottom edge, punched a new hole so the trim button would fit. That was the only place possible. The holes along the top edge are crying out for a self tapper and a brass cup but with the fuel tank just behind, it's not something I want to try! Although it's now fitted, I know it isn't right, so it has spoilt the effect for me.”
