This fantastic quality solar panel battery maintainer keeps your battery topped up wherever you are. Works in overcast conditions and suitable for most 12v batteries. Helps reduce power drain from onboard electronics and can be used for a wide variety of applications. Comes complete with suction cups (for windscreen mounting), LED charge indicator, 12V DC power plug, battery clips and 2.7 metre lead. Can be left connected overnight. Unit measures just 520mm x 166mm x 30mm.Please Note: This is NOT a charger, and will not recover a flat battery. This unit is intended for use to keep a healthy battery topped up during periods when the car not being used.

“While this is still (4th Jan 2019) listed as "complete with suction cups (for windscreen mounting), LED charge indicator, 12V DC power plug, battery clips and 2.7 metre lead" the power plug can ONLY be used on vehicles where the power socket stays ON when the ignition is OFF. It is therefore not suitable for my MX5 (and not wanting to use it via the battery clips I have returned). Hopefully the description will be amended on site!”

“The unit is very nice. It has a 2m cable to run from the parcel shelf to the battery so that you can keep you battery topped up. (Or use the cigrette lighter attachment if you want to leave it on the dash). Its 1.5A max output so will not recharge a dead battery but will keep a healthy battery topped up and prevent discharge over time. I leave my MX-5 outside alot as its not my main car. This product keeps my battery topped up to prevent me jumping it and killing my battery. Normal use on a sunny day expect 0.9-1.2A from the parcel shelf through the window.”

“Used this solar panel for a couple of weeks yesterday was first time i left it attached overnight. Went to start car the next day and was completely dead totaly drained the battery.Definately not impressed with this item.”
