We are pleased to now have available a fantastic range of Ultra Racing Chassis Braces. Established in 2002, Ultra Racing are a specialist manufacturer of chassis handling and tuning components, and with an emphasis on design, functionality and performance, they have fast become well renowned worldwide for producing some of the highest quality and best performing chassis braces and bars on the market. This front upper engine bay strut brace stiffens and strengthens the front of the car, giving far more precise and improved handling by reducing the flex between the suspension towers. This one has the added advantage of having two further mounting points on the engine bay bulkhead for even more strength!Fits all right hand drive Mk3, Mk3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015 (The AC pipes are in the way on LHD models). Please Note: This bar will fit to a standard car using the four seemingly pointless bolts in the bulkhead of the car. If you are replacing an existing brace however, you may need to remove the black mounting panel before fitting this one.

“I was tempted to give this four stars, but I'll stick with five. This is a great brace option for the MX5 NC. I've had it fitted to a MK3 NC1 NON-SPORT and the extra fitting that is required for the ILSport bar is NOT required for this. It is a direct fit/match. You will however, as the other review mentions, need longer bolts for the bulkhead.I think the worst bit of this product is the amount of sellophane it's wrapped in! Undoing it was a nightmare and it was still scratched underneath!Definitely makes a non-sport feel more planted in cornering.”

“Very fast delivery as always from MX5 parts. The brace was easy to fit apart from the 4 existing bolts in the bulkhead aren't long enough due to the thickness of the brace brackets and need to be replaced. It would be better if longer bolts were supplied by the manufacturer. Good quality, fit and finish. The 4 point mounting version is a LOT more expensive than the basic one considering the only difference appears to be 2 small bulkhead brackets. However, I consider these essential for the additional rigidity they give. The brace does what it's supposed to do. The car now feels more planted with a noticeable absence of scuttle shake over railway crossings, rough roads and through bumpy bends.”
