Quality aftermarket replacement exhaust centre pipe for the Mk2 with the one piece cat and centre pipe. The existing pipe will need cutting just after the cat with this section sleeving over the top. Supplied with a 54mm 'U' clamp. Superb cost effective solution to save you the expense of replacing the complete cat and centre pipe!Fits all Mk2 models, 1998>2000, 5 speed manual transmission only, with a one piece cat and centre pipe.Fitting tip: Remove the complete cat and centre section fron the car. Offer the new centre pipe up to the old pipe ensuring that the bolted flange ends are level. Mark and cut the old pipe ensuring enough is left of the cat pipe for this new one to sleeve over the top. We would recommend the use of a small amout of exhast sealant for a completely air tight seal.

Considering the flange on the existing centre pipe was going to cost รบ70 plus VAT to be welded back into place, this was a valued buy. No cutting required, and fitted like a glove with all corresponding holes and the hanger perfectly lining up. Had to remove the front pipe with cat. to allow for removal and replacement as trying to fit just the centre pipe is prevented by the attached hanger knocking against the underbody. Made life easier in the end. Hardest part with this job, removal and replacement of the exhaust mounting rubbers, p-gs

Part fits perfectly, hangers and flange holes in the right places. Silencer box works as standards. The clamp supplied took a bit of work to get it to fit over the piper.Hasn't shown any signs of corrosion yet, parts has been fitted for just short of year.
