“replaces the original brace, which appears to be made of very thin metal. Needs to be fitted losely with the front brace first, then tightened. Looks much better”

“Probably wouldn't make much of a difference on its own, but worth fitting in conjunction with the front-lower and mid-lower bars. Had to ease the holes a little to get it to fit, but otherwise well made.”

“Brought this in the summer after the original Mazda one failed on one of the fixings. Cleaned and painted area before fitting. Looks superb. Body feels stiffer. Have also Brought the front brace. Will be purchasing the rear brace in the spring.”

“Hard to say if this makes a difference or not because it was fitted at the same time as a 4 point turret brace and an anti toll bar kit. Having said that, it's light, substantially strong, well finished and easy to fit. Anything better stronger than the OE tin plate it replaces has to be good. Combined with the turret brace & anti roll bar kit, the car's already excellent handling has been transformed to noticeably higher level without sacrificing comfort. Note - fitted to a 2006 MX5 Mk3 2.0i option pack.”
