“I have just fitted this kit myself, and although i always thought that the price for it was too high, after seeing the end product, it's worth every penny, especially since I got the 15% discount on it too. It took me about two hours to fit everything as per instructions provided, which are self explanatory and quite easy to follow.The fitment of this can be tricky, especially if you don't want to leave gaps where these parts meet. I actually allowed for very little tolerance and when I fitted the last piece ( centre ) as per instructions, one of its ends, slightly touched the already fitted side piece (0.5mm). I quickly managed to solve this problem especially by sticking an extra strip of double sided tape (automotive grade 1mm) on the already 3m fitted on the underside at the end of the centre piece. It's important to allow enough tolerance where these parts have to meet, although this is clearly indicated in the instructions leaflets enclosed. Finally, this chrome garnish kit looks beautiful in my mk3.5 crystal white pearl, and I much doubt that applying chrome wrap as a substitute for this , which I was considering, will achieve the same great finish and looks.”

“I had my local Mazda shop fit this today. The tech lad who done the work said it was NOT a job he would want to do every day. He has made quite a good job of it, just one small misalignment on the top O/S, I will have to live with that. I am glad I did not attempt this one. It does make quite a difference to the look of the car, " IT LOOKS GREAT ". I am very happy with the quality of the three mouldings they have a 1st class finish, whoever produced these are top class moulders and platters. Thanks again to the service from the MX5 team.
