Absolutely and under no circumstances whatsoever should you attempt to install this worthless product. Not only is it aftermarket, but it is also rubbish.I bought my kit a year and a half ago. The cables are far too long and had only exposed copper ends (no connectors) so they have to be tied to existing parts of the car which looks very untidy and the kit was incomplete, lacking a switch. The instructions were splattered liberally with specialist terms and were extremely vague in the important parts. If you want fog lights on your MX-5, take your car to a dealership garage and ask them to install official fog lights. Expensive, but the only way to ensure that you get a quality product.

Purchased fog light kit for 2001 NB2.5 found lights to be be of excellent quality. Once again arrived in 4 working days all the way to New Zealand. Here's a fitting info tip:the NB2.5 is pre-wired to the lights and to the switch.Be aware that a relay is not fitted in the circut. All wiring is too small and I would advise you to use the full fitting kit supplied with the lights, otherwise problems with the switch and wiring will occur.Fitting kit wiring is plenty long enough, although if fitting to late model vehicles you need to buy foglight switch separately, part no. SI356. This makes vehicle look original.Overall great kit. Well done MX5 parts.

i bought these fog lights 5 months ago and although esthetically fitted fantastically on the car, i was unlucky because on the second day on one of them the glass broke, most probably from debris on the road. I ordered another fog light and 2 days ago placed it on the car,( finally found some free time). Two days after tne nstallation and after one car wash i've found humidity on the inside of the new installed fog light, and there are no signs of the light been hit by any object or in any other way. I believe that this was caused from the manufacturer's failure as there seems to be no problem with the other fog light. I therefore give a score of 2 and I don't know whether I will reconsider ordering this item again, as this will be the third time. I would like to know if there is any way of replacing the faulty product without being charged for it again.
