“I used AutoGlym shampoo and polish on my Classic Red Mk2 for 13 years (about every 2-8 weeks), and the paintwork stayed in excellent condition - no fading etc. After polishing the car, water would form spherical droplets and just roll off... but this effect would only last about a week before the car would need polishing again if it was to retain the full effect. Having seen cars that haven't had this protection, it's well worth the extra cost for this stuff.Then I tried Extra Gloss Protection, and it's brilliant - the droplet effect lasts for more than a month and the car stays cleaner and shinier, as so much of the water and dirt just rolls off - the low parts of the car still inevitably get covered with mud but less dirty areas like the the hardtop and bonnet look great for much longer.It's quick and easy to apply (wipe on a watery liquid, then when dry wipe off a white dust), the shine is great, and the car stays looking clean for much longer.”
