“Bought this Sachs 3 piece kit and found out that the clutch disc isn't from Sachs but from Exedy. After some time doing narrow roads the clutch started to work really bad and hasn't the grip that is supposed to have. I think the OEM is far better than this one.”

“If you are going to mod your 1.8iS VVT this is the one to get first. Next day delivery, and fitting this kit has transformed the driving experience.No more cold morning judder and the acceleration is much snappier. Just don't forget to order a new spigot bearing whilst you're at it!10 out of 10!”

“Clutch Judder has now gone , think my car still had the stock clutch in place (Nevada 2003) , probably the first job you should do if your car if afffected with this common problem. Gearchange between 1st and 2nd still not perfect but I really think this is a trait of the gearbox following a lot of reasearch. Previously I had a Ford Focus which had one of the easiest gearbox out there and you get lazy, The MX5 gearchange takes a bit more concentration to get it right. Changed gear box oil and spigot bearing at the same time. The biggest improvement I have made to the car. Just need to go back and sort the heat shield rattle out , once you distrub them fitting the clutch can take some fiddling to cure the rattles . Quality replacement clutch.”

“What a fantastic piece of kit! It really has totally cured the dreaded clutch judder on my 1.8i sport. Excellent delivery time as always. The parts were easily fitted by my local Bosch service agent with no problems. I ordered the spigot bearing in addition, as suggested by him. The car is an absolute joy to drive now. Best £150 I've ever spent on a car.”

“Bites like a Piranha.Do not be unduly worried if your newly fitted clutch will not get into / out of gear straight away. Factory fitted anti corrosion treatment could account for this so I am told. My spanner man said the kit was an easy fitment.Thoroughly recommended.”

“I suffered from the dreaded clutch judder on my Mk 2.5 1.8 sport 6 speed. Ordered the Sachs clutch from here, which was delivered in a opne hour time slot next day. Excellent service.Had the clutch fitted. It took 2.5 hours by my local garage. Also took the opportunity to change the gearbox oil for ML90. What a vast improvement in the gearbox! No more clutch judder, gearchange a lot quieter and smoother. Had the garage change the spigot bearing whilst the gearbox was out. Best thing ive done on the car so far. If you have a Mk 2.5, just go ahead and get it done. It's like a different car!”
