The kit was purchased with bank holiday discount and delived on time. It is comprehensive with instructions and an installation kit. I choose only to heat the seat cushions and not the seat backs so only 1 kit was necessary but I bought 2. The instructions are diagramatic with little text so I reverted to the internet to double check installation details.

Bought to replace the broken elements in my NBFL (mk2.5). Be aware that whilst the replacement units are approximately the same size, that the factory fitted element have a distinct cut out roughly 75% of the way along the longer side. The leather is fastened to the foam where these cut outs are, so I couldn't see any option but to cut out similar slots into the new units. Have to say that I personally didn't have the confidence to take a pair of scissors to an electrical heating element that would then be sat next to foam. Just initiated an RMA.Note: No issues with the delivery by MX5parts, who are per normal, were incredibly prompt.

Excellent replacement for the failed pads on my driverside mk2.5, not a 5 min job removing seat and pulling the covers off enough to access cleanly. The bull rings holding the covers on can be replaced with small cable ties when reassembling but I persevered with a couple of long nose pliers. Wire these parallel and not in series. I used the original connector under the seat.

Used the kit to replace a broken original heating mat in my 2004 MK 2.5. The mats have the right size to be fitted in lieu of the originals. Make sure to convert the original series wiring of the two mats to a parallel connection for this kit.
