“Ouch its expensive ! But essential and it looks smart and is genuine Mazda.Already had the relay in the boot (that was a surprise) and bought the HRW switch earlier as I was sorting out dash wiring for the front and rear fogs.So its great to have the heated screen on the way in to work on damp mornings”

“My comments are very similar to Daniel'sI ordered the wiring harness, a HRW switch and a relay to connect up the glass HRW in the replacement hood on my MK1 car (the fuse box was already fitted). Everything fitted in a few minutes, apart from the final connections to the HRW element itself. The spade terminals on the trailing wires from the HRW element were not going to come off no matter how hard they were pulled until a colleague squeezed the bottom of the connector - gently pushed up to release the lug and off it came. Annoying really as he now has bragging rights.Other than that, a simple job. The HRW warning light in the instrument cluster lights up when it switched on and the switch itself is illuminated when the lights are on.The wiring harness is expensive, but it is a genuine Mazda part, so not surprising. Usual excellent delivery and technical advice.”
