“The grille is very neat when fitted and is very good quality. I found the grille easier to fit by removing the number plate and mounting plinth. I had to drill out the pop rivets on the plinth and re fitted it using self tapping screws once the grille was fitted in position.”

“This grill is great edition to the Mk3.5 soft top. Use lots of masking tape and take the numberplate plinth off the car to make it easy to fit.There was a bit of blood so do wear gloves !!! .Purchase and delivery excellent as always from MX5 Parts.”

“Looks really smart, I wish I'd worn gloves as suggested, cut fingers and hands to shreds from the spikey edges. You definitely need to tape up the surrounding paintwork - as its a bit fiddly getting it behind the numberplate mount. Great fit, sets the nose of the car off nicely”

“As others have said wear gloves I didn’t and had no problems at all to my hands. Most important make sure you use masking tape on the plastic and the paintwork and plenty of it, I made a few marks on the large plastic part of the grill but that was my fault as I didn’t put any tape on the plastic. It would have been a bit easier if I could have worked out how to remove the number plate holder. (One customer only gave it one star, don’t take no notice of this review)Maybe a little on the pricey side but dose look great and the quality is excellent so will give it 5 stars.”

“Absolutely brilliant. Fitted like a glove. Took about 10 minutes. Use masking tape, wear gloves. Grill just clips in (no screws). Gives car a mean, cheeky grin! Good quality, looks cool!Andy”

“THIS IS ONE ITEM YOU DO NEED TO READ THE STICKER ON THE PACKAGE BEFORE FITTING. IT SAYS WEAR GLOVES, I DO SUGGEST YOU DO, LIKE MOST MEN I DIDNT READ THE INSRUCTIONS FIRST. THEREFORE I ENDED UP WITH SHREEDED FINGER TIPS AND HOW WALKING AROUND WITH PLASTERS. OTHERWISE THE GRILLE LOOKS GREAT AND SUGGEST WHEN FITTING REMOVE NUMBER PLATE FIRST. ALSO AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS USE AS MUCH MASKING TAPE AS NEEDED TO PROTECT PAINTWORK ON BUMPER. BEFORE FITTING GRILLE SUGGEST YOU BEND THE TWO BOTTOM CLIPS DOWN SLIGHTLY, SO THEY CLIP IN BEHIND THE BUMPER. THIS WILL SAVE YOU TAKING THE GRILLE BACK OUT OF THE BUMPER BECAUSE USING A SCREW DRIVER AS PER INSTRUCTIONS DID NOT PUSH IT DOWN, ONLY WILL SPRING BACK UP AGAIN.”
