What sets these apart from most aftermarket versions, is that there is no longer any need to "cut and shut" the wiring, as these come fitted with the proper plug just like the genuine Mazda ones do, ensuring a faster and better fit, at an amazingly low price.The Mk3 has two oxygen sensors, this is the one that sits in before the catalytic convertor.Fits all 1.8 & 2.0 Mk3 models only, 2005>2008 up to chassis number 159284

“Bank 1 upstream H02S fault after a Terraclean. OEM part about £400. So good value at £167 from MX5 Parts. I'm not a mechanic and fitted this myself. Remove positive terminal from battery. Depress foot brake. To clear engine fault. Jack up car.remove off-side wheel access via wheel arch. Up steam sensor located upper right side of manifold. Connectors for both sensors beside each other to the right. Use 22mm 02 sensor socket (£8). Fiddley but manageable. Unclip connector. Remove sensor. Fit this £167 Sensor. I used 30ftlb of torque. then fit clip that comes with this sensor . Job done”

“Very impressed with this sensor.I have an il motorsports 4-1 header and I had to extend the wiring on the genuine sensor however this aftermarket sensor comes with plenty of length on the wiring and fits perfectly. Very impressed as I was expecting to have to splice into the loom.”
