Aluminium Pedal Cover Set Mazda MX5 Mk2/2.5 Reviews

4.9 Rating 27 Reviews
Read MX5parts Reviews

Fantastic quality pedal cover set for the Mk2/2.5. Consists of a footrest, and three pedal covers made from aluminium in a brushed finish with an anti slip top. No need for drilling, the clutch and brake cover simply slide on in place of the original and the accelerator screws on using the existing holes in the pedal. These have been designed to be as close to the original size as possible, making them far easier to use than the usual "over sized" aftermarket pedal sets. They come nicely packaged with all the required fixings. Suitable for both left and right hand drive cars.
Fits all Mazda MX5 Mk2/2.5 models, 1998>2005 with manual gearbox only.

Seemingly very good quality...i would say these would be acceptable value at around £50.

A really smart addition to your MX5 cabin. Providing you follow the helpful advice given in previous reviews and use plenty of washing-up liquid on the brake & clutch peddles, they are very easy to fit. The quality is superb and they provide very good grip. Top service & delivery from MX5parts also.

Excellent item! Following the adivises of the other pals here, installing was fast and painless (used dish fluid + a short flat screwdriver). For the rest panel, I decided to use some doublesided tape, since it is a pity to to dig some holes on the plastic: also in this way everything firm and steady. Excellent service from MX5parts as usual.

It's taken a while to get these as MX5Parts have been waiting for their Suppliers. Well worth waiting for though - they look great and feel good.Fitting is a doddle thanks to advice from previous reviewers - washing up liquid for the clutch & brake and line up the bottom edge of the footrest. I used double sided tape to hold the footrest in place whilst getting the self tapping screws to bite - it needs a bit of pressure and an electrical screwdriver made this a lot easier.

Have these and stainless steel door sill(MX-5 logo), look very good together.A bit tricky to fit middle two pedals but overall v.easy.Look much, much better than my old originals, which where quite worn down. The feel of them under your foot when driving also 'fits the way driving an MX-5 feels' very well.Excellent.Very pleased with quality.

been looking at these for awhile, got some for xmas. took 20mins to fit, accelorator no problem, break & clutch if you feel at the back/ top of the rubbers there is a small tab just pull from there and they come off easy, rub a bit of washing up liquid around the new ones and put the bottom on first pushing up and in all the way up and you will find (as i did they just pop on )took the foot rest off two small nuts, fit the new rest so that the bottom is flush, as the new one is larger than the origanal rest the top will overhang,if you fit with the top flush you will not get the rest to fit back (you have been warned) look really good

Hi from France!Very good products, the pedal now look really great for a raisonnable price, I recommand it for other MX5 owners. The brake and gas pedal were a nightmare to set...but an advice: put some dishes washing liquid on the pedal to insert these cover; so then it's easy to insert (done in 5 mins) and no risk to slip when the liquid is dry (we usually use that methode to insert handles covers on motorbikes).

Bought for me as a gift. Very nice looking and much easier to fit than the generic kits that require drilling.Fitting is quick and easy(ish), but expect raw fingers after stretching the rubber over the brake and clutch pedals!!
