Up to 100% brighter than the standard bulb, incredibly bright white light with enhanced performance for greater light output. Provides better reflections from road markings and signs. Objects can be seen more clearly at a distance of 75m on dipped beam. Fully 'E' Marked and road legal. UV protected and suitable for use in plastic lenses. So banish the darkness and fit Xenon 100.
Supplied as a pack of two bulbs, these are suitable for all Mk1 & Mk2 models, 1989>2000

“I've always felt the standard headlight bulbs in my 2000 NB were nowhere near bright enough for night driving unless I could use full beam, which isn't an option on busy roads. I read online that it isn't allowed to switch to LED without replacing the entire unit therefore I was looking for an alternative solution. Saw these bulbs advertised as being twice as bright as standard ones and, for £30, decided they were worth a go. The driver side was easy to fit, the passenger side less so but got there in the end. (You're a bit tight for space on the passenger side, and I did actually remove the whole unit in order to make it easy, then refitted it.) These lamps are significantly brighter and make a big difference to the night time driving experience. Using the three beam levels you can easily set what's best for you. Full beam illuminates a huge distance/area in front of you. I'd happily buy them again in the future.”

“Bulbs arrived pronto: fitted in fifteen minutes (I took my time and cleaned the headlamp covers, plus applied some WD40 to my rusty nuts. Matron).First impressions: very nice. Certainly brighter than stock bulbs and brilliant white - but with an interesting blue corona effect also.Happy with these - but hope they last more than twelve months.......Baron Byron.”

“Pretty good, there is some noticable improvement. What I was really impressed with was the swift delivery, as always. I ordered this item at about 1600 and it was here the next morning. I found this incredible as I am at the top of the country so to get an item across the entire length of the country was some achievment. Well done royal mail for once.”

“I bought these to replace the standard old glowworms that were fitted to my NA.They were delivered very promptly and I fitted them in about half an hour. What a difference they make, they do exactly as it says on the tin.Highly recommended, excellent value for money.”

“Just got these today. Fantastic service from MX5 parts. Instantly better light quality from the bulbs. Much brighter than the standard units with much clearer light quality. Only minor issue is the packaging can make it very hard to actually get the bulbs out without touching or scratching the surface other than that well worth the money.”

“Arrived next day.Fitted them to my 1998 MK2 import. Had trouble removing block connectors, I think you have to squeeze the sides.Bulb should be a loose fit held firm by spring clip. It took twenty minutes to fit first one and five to fit the second.Massive difference to the brightness. Don't know if the claims are correct but headlamps display a white light and a blueness around the bulb.Looks really cool. Buy them!”
