Made from durable urethane, these spoilers are an exact replica of the Genuine Mazda version that is no longer available. Designed to attach in the same place as the OE spoiler, they come unpainted so can be either left in the soft ABS plastic finish, or sprayed to match the colour of your vehicle. “As per usual with Mx5parts, delivery was spot on (you guys are awesome at dispatch). The Lip spoiler is a really nice item, very well made and the material is high quality, if you twist it with your hands before fitting it pings back to it's correct shape without any sign of cracking or creaking and when fitted to the car it has plenty of 'spring' so the odd speedbump isn't going to harm it, although if you paint it a bodycolour it will show scratches as paint is much less forgiving than the bare finish, I just left mine unpainted. Takes roughly an hour to fit, either have a friend help you to position it or get some plastic clamps so you know where everything lines up. I took the plastic clamp route and was much easier to fit than I expected. Mine came with the fixings (screws, clips, nuts and bolts) to fit it, but they were well hidden inside the box and I initially thought they were missing, I can only commend and applaud whoever placed them inside the box on their sneaky skills and wonder how good they are at hiding the treasure on treasure hunts. :DAll things considered, this is one of those items where 'you get what you pay for' and although it seems expensive its obvious that it will easily outlast anything cheaper on the market.”

“Awsome bit of kit! Looks fantastic on my red mk1. Didnt bother with the nuts n bolts tho just put it on with selftapers. Even the wife likes it n she thinks i should leave the car standard!A must buy for anyone wanting to improve the look of their NA.”

“Nice product. Fits 100% perfect.Didn't come with instructions and they weren't available from mx5parts. I emailed IL Motorsport and they sent me a pdf, I have forwarded this to mx5parts and hopefully they can now post up here or include with spoiler.I had a side-winder drill that made drilling the lower edge of the bumper easy whilst car is on ground (mine is lowered 25mm as well!), if you don't have ramps might be a struggle without?All fixings included, even a couple of extra M6 nuts and bolts just in case!”

“Pretty good bit of kit that really improves the front end of the MX-5.Comes with all the fitting required and it\'s pretty obvious where they all screw in.Rolled the front of the car onto some ramps, drilled a few holes in the bottom of the front bumper, bolted the bumper on using these holes, then used the self tapers to attached it at the wheel archs and undertray.Took a few hours in total.”

“Delivery time excellent as always. Have had this lip spoiler a while whilst I stripped and resprayed my MK1. Had it painted to body colour before fitting which did require quite a bit of sanding and prepping but that would be expected of any injection mouleded piece of kit. The spoiler came with all necessary fittings but no instructions although it was fairly obvious what needed to go where!! Although it took a bit of lining up (spare hands useful here!) it did fit very nicely in the end. The front of the car looks tremendous now especially when fitted with a woven mesh grill. Overall very pleased!”
