“I gather this is an NB knob and is not correct for the NA. The NA is flatter on top. If you are going for originality on an NA this gearknob is incorrect. MX5 parts should point this out in their description. Editors Note: This is the only OE gear knob available from Mazda now. The parts catalogue lists this one as fitting all Mk1 & 2/2.5 models 1989>2005. There may well have been a different version for the NA when the car was produced but that certainly isn\'t available any more and hasn\'t been for a long time.”

“I reluctantly decided to purchase one of these (was initially put off by the price!) to replace the uncomfortable chrome Halfords one that a previous owner had installed. It is quite expensive for what it is, however being a genuine Mazda part it is good quality and to be honest how often does one need to buy one of these anyway! Purchased Friday afternoon and arrived Saturday morning! I'm pleased that I went ahead with this purchase. Thanks MX5parts!!”
