Chrome Door Cupholder In-Fill StripA nicely finished and good fitting chromed door cupholder strip. Finishes the gap half way down the cupholder. These require no tape to fix them in place, they simply click into place. “Be assured, they do fit - eventually! Just as I was composing an angry email in my head, there was a satisfying click and it slipped into place. Looks very pretty now. Eye-wateringly expensive though for 2 little bits of chrome plated plastic - that's MX5Parts for you!”

“I purchased these from a vender here in the United States, tried to fit them per instructioons and still had a gap after install. Sent item back for refund and will not be getting these in the future, waste of money.Editors Note: As we have stated in our description, the instructions we list have been updated and if they are fitted correctly they will sit flush to the door. We have a set in our own car and they sit perfectly.”

“I was successful when I first dismounted the door panel and after that the cupholder. With the cupholder in my hand it was possible to assemble the chromed strip correctly.i would have given 5 stars if I had had the mounting instruction together with the part.”

“Despite the fitting instructions, these parts do not fit flush, the radius is slightly out and yes there is a gap as you look from above, these are too long for the original slot and spring out in the middle. hence the gap.Editors note: We have updated the fitting instructions on these and double checked the fitment on our own car, and can confirm that they can be fitted flush to the door. Someone will be in touch with you shortly to be of some assistance.”

“Have to agree with the other review. These do not easily clip into place as the door trim flexes as you try to push the clips in place. Result one broken clip and have ended up gluing them into place. a shame as they are very nicely made and look good when in place.”

“THESE ARE MARKED L/H - R/H ~ SIMPLY CLIP IN ~ JOB DONE !! WAS,NT TO IMPRESSED WITH THE FIT THOUGH ~ YOU CAN SEE A GAP DOWN THE CENTRE OF THEM WHEN FITTED. LOOK GOOD THOUGH.Editors Note: Please refer to the following instructions as shown on the product page. These trims will fit perfectly flush without any gap, they click into place at each end.Fitting tip: Push the trim at either end with your thumbs whilst holding the inside of the cupholder. This should ensure that the two hooks \"click\"" into place. If you then look down into the cup holder you should see that the hooks are firmly in place."”
