When fitting a UK style 1din radio into your Eunos you are left with a damn big hole underneath it! This cubby box is the perfect filler. It fits securely from behind and is strong enough for a standard radio cage to be fixed to it. “I was hesitant to buy this due to the price but I was fed up with the gap in my centre console after fitting a single DIN stereo.Once fitted it looks like a factory part and when screwed in place it's sturdy enough to support the stereo cage.The only downside is the price.”

“Bought this product last year finally had time to fit this weekend, dreadfull product. It is to short by 12mm from left to right and to tall by the same from top to bottom. When you sit it in its gap of off the car there is not enough height to get the stereo cage in. Spoke to somone at MX5 Parts who told me some eunos have a wider centre console therefore it wont fit. Rubbish the width of the gap where the cage for the stereo sits is mm perfect and if you slide it down to were the product should go it is still mm perfect so this tells me the fault lies with the cubby box as all the stereo cages are a standard size. He said if I pay to send the product back he will refund me other than that there is nothing he cah do. the product is obviously faulty surely you should send out a replacement and collect the faulty one upon reciept. Very disapointed in product, customer servises answers and help.Editors Note: Sorry to hear you have had problems with this product. We have come across this in the past, where a few Eunos/Miata models for some reason have an odd sized centre console. It would appear that your vehicle is one of them. However out of the thousands of these we have sold to date, 99.9% of them fit perfectly. We also have quite a number of these in stock, and as they are all exactly the same, sending you another one is not going to solve the problem. As per our returns policy, you are more than welcome to return the product to us for a full refund.”

“expensive bit of plastic. much better than a whole though.found i needed to file it down to get it to fit. I also done the oposite to the display picture and put the cd player on the bottom. there is 2 holes at the top where u can screw the box to.”
