“I bought these chromed eye ball vents for my 2009 Mk3.5 but ended up sending them back for a refund. To install them would have involved partially dismantling the dash board which I wasn’t prepared to do, for what would have been a purely cosmetic change. On the Mk 1&2s the eyeball vents can be pulled out relatively easily from the front. This isn’t possible for the later Mks which require the fascia trim panels, which house the vents, to be removed. I’m sure they would have looked great but I just wasn’t prepared to disrupt the dashboard.Dave MX5 OC Central Scotland”

“Delivered the next day. Despite no instructions, these are easy (ish) to fit if you know what you're doing and take your time. The chrome eyeballs are much easier to direct than the originals....mine would stick in certain positions. The overall effect is superb and classy. Good bang for buck bling.”

“These were part of a much larger purchase recently. After a bit of research about removing the decoration panels to fit these, it all went like clockwork. You have to re use the other parts of the vents obviously but not difficult to swap everything over. Watch the finish on your panels though when fitting these, easily marked! In combination with the chrome vent surrounds these really do look nice!”
