The indicator light in the switch faces the wrong way. Can\'t be seen from drivers seat. Unless the switch is mounted upside down???Editors Note: You are correct, the switch needs to be fitted the other way up. We\'ve changed the image on the website to reflect which way it should be fitted.

As the foglight switch I had in my Eunos kept blowing the main lighting fuse when the warning light was connected and also it looked a load of s**t I decided the £22.70 had to be spent! After reading the instructions on these reviews left by previous buyers I had no trouble fitting the switch, although I did decide to follow the advise of one person and cut off with a stanley knife the little tabs on the surround and then turn the switch upside down which makes the light eaiser to see as when swiched on the switch faces towards the left instead of the right. As pointed out in earlier reviews, the texture finish and colour is slightly different, but still looks a 100% better than my old one and is also now going to pass the MOT!

Having looked behind the dash at the bodge job which connected the fog lamp I decided to fit the 'right' switch and tidy up the wiring.Matches perfectly with the Heated Rear Window Switch, just wish there was an equivalent switch for the original front fog lights the car has. (And yes, the wiring for these is a complete bodge as well)

Having bought a switch. Can anyone tell me if you take out the old switch by gently prising it out or do you need to dismantle the dash? Thanks

Another positive review for this item. Looks far better than the universal switch, which was fitted to my Eunos. The only comment I want to add to the existing reviews, is that I found, even when following the wiring diagram in the other reviews, my the indicator light on my switch was illuminating all the time my lights were on, regardless of whether it was switched on or not. The fog-light was switching on/off correctly, but the warning light was permanently on (technically an MOT failure).I resolved this by swapping the wires going to pins 2 and 5, so that I had pin 5 as my +12v supply, and pin 2 as my ouput +12v to the fog-light. This seemed to fix it for me. I'm wondering if the switch has changed internally, or if perhaps the wiring diagram is incorrect? In any case, if you find the same problem, this is the way to resolve it.Ben.
