“It’s a well made little tray but the only means of fastening it is some Velcro pads. These don’t seem deep enough to actually secure it properly to the centre console so it can pop up quite easily. There are better options out there!”

“This is a nice alternative for the original ashtray which isn't used. I didn't feel a cupholder is practical in the mazda, so this is handy for keys etc. Doesn't fit an iPhone, but this might be a good thing! An iPhone has no business in a Mk1 MX5 1991 Special Edition :)”

“A nice product, not as thin and flimsy as I was expecting from other reviews (I was basically expecting plastic as thick as that of a recyclable water bottle). Lightweight, but perfectly reasonable considering that it's for a tiny lightweight car.The only thing that keeps me from giving this five stars is that the finish is very glossy, much more so than my original center console. I will probably try to either sand it down or paint it in order to get a finish that resembles the rest of the console.”

“It fits well and is fairly good quality but it feels like it's made from plastic only a couple of mm thick, and for £16! I was hoping for something that was a bit more sturdy. It's mainly the price that made me mark this piece of trim down.”

“I'm a smoker, but as my new Eunos is a no smoking zone the ashtray was just wasting space. This tray gives some much needed extra space for odds and sods which will be very handy.A few other folk have mentioned they think the plastic is a bit thin, but I don't find this to be the case, it seems sturdy enough for its job, and it fits perfectly with no rattling - good bit of kit.And as always, very quick delivery.”

“Perfect fit for iPhone. Five second install. Was great all through winter, but unfortunately has melted in the hot Aussie summer and is no longer usable. People in warmer climes be warned!”
