“Really delighted with the rack- relatively easy to fit although an extra pair of hands came in useful and I needed a smaller Alan key than was supplied to loosen off some bolts that were already fitted; it came supplied with the stronger boot springs and rubber cushions which was a bonus I wasn't expecting. Looks really good.”

“Brilliant service---fantastic looking rack.Ordered rack on the 22 Dec @ 7pm & received rack on Dec 24.It took a while to install but was quite easy once you looked over the instructions a few times.Realy looks good on my mrk2.Looking forward to ordering my V bar next.”

“Excellent service....excellent productOrdered rack just before 5pm. yesterday, it arrived before 3.30pm. today and I fitted it before tea tonight!!!Looks superb and seems to be of usual Mazda high quality.Good fitting instructions.There was extra bonus of uprated boot springs in the box which I was not expecting as suggested on the description of the item.Well done MX5 parts. for great experience. Anyone hesitating in buying one should seriously consider one of these racks before they all go!!!”

“I\'ve put off buying a rack in the past because of poor reviews on after market products. I decided to trust Mazda to do a good job and took the plunge on this one. It\'s a really nice unit and looks right when installed. It\'s solid as a rock. It took a while to install but was easy with a little help from a friend! The only pity is that the uprated boot springs don\'t come with it, nevertheless, the standard springs cope quite well but care is needed that the lid doesn\'t drop unexpectedly. On the plus side, the boot closes really easily with the rack in place.The protective film pads seem to work really well (I cleaned the paintwork with Isopropyl Alcohol to degrease it before applying them) but I would say that once installed the fitting system would not make it easy to remove the rack between uses - I\'ll leave my on permanently.The kit came with a hex key for one of the two bolt sizes but I found I needed to use a ball ended key to get a convenient angle on the larger bolts in the feet of the rack so as to avoid the risk of scratching the paintwork. I also needed a smaller key for the small clamps - fortunately I had one!”

“I bought one of these in June 2009 and found it invaluable; used it for many enjoyable trips around the UK & France.In 2011 I noticed some of the silver chrome coating/plating starting to flake off and revealing a duller, yellowing base metal. It has in no way affected the usability of the rack, it remains as solid as ever. However cosmetically it does now look rather tarnished and second hand. The product comes with a 12 month warranty therefore the guys at MX5 parts confirmed to me there is nothing that could be done.So it's a slight negative to consider - it a great piece of kit, but at a few hundred pounds you'd expect better cosmetic longevity.”

“Brilliant! what a fantastic buy with true next day delivery, genuine Mazda item made to a very high quality, come complete with; paint protectors for the boot lid, stronger boot lid springs and even longer boot stop rubbers to take the extra weight plus a allen key for fitting. Fitting is straight forward and information sheet is provided.”
