Hi, bought this wind deflector but can't attach it to mounting plate as it is broken. Can you advise me where to purchase the base plate. The deflecctor came on time and looks really good. Looking forward to fitting it.

Highly recommended for the MX5. I got this as we has a road trip around Switzerland planned and thought this might help as my girlfriend has long hair and didn't want her moaning all the way. It did the job. Is looks like it could be a stock part as it fits the car great. I recently retired the original blocker and it was amazing the difference.A few little bad points, there is a slight vibration on the role hoops which I fixed with some self adhesive pads. The other is that I can't clean the inside of the back window on my RC with it in place. Still worth 5 stars.

Fantastic service as usual and this wind deflector is the business! No wind in the cabin whatsoever even at high speed. First class.

A brilliant piece of trim for the MX5. I spent ages not knowing which wind blocker to buy. I really wanted to fit the clear wind blocker but after reading the reviews I bought the mesh fitting. So glad I bought the mesh one it's easy to fit and looks really great on my black MX5 against the chrome seat bars. The vision is slightly obscured but the wind protection is fantastic and noticeably better. The mesh black fittingis very smart and looks factory fitted it should of been fitted as standard by Mazda. It's worth every penny and is a must have upgrade you will love it! Thank you MX5 parts another great piece of styling. Five stars go and get one...Andy

I brought this 18 months ago as I was less than impressed with the small OEM plastic fold down deflector. It was very easy to fit and am very pleased with it and can highly recommend it to any other Mark 3 owners.

I have deliberated over getting a wind deflector for some time but as I kept getting ear ache from the factory fit one on my 3.5 PHT I took the plunge. At the MX5 rally I was able to see lots in place both the mesh and the clear one. I was advised by numerous people to go for the mesh. I bought one.It came within 1 day - brilliant. Install is very easy. The factory wind deflector is held in place by a bracket that is carefully prised away from the body. It is only held in by spring clips. This is reused with the new brackets attached. Instructions are easy. The mesh deflector appears well made and comes with a cover - not that it is likely to be removed. As I am tall I was concerned that it would have an impact on how far my seat goes back but it makes no difference.Installation only took about 15mins. Word of caution - be careful not to drop the washers or thumb screw down the back of the roof if you have a PHT. Luckily I found mine quite quickly. Visibility is slightly compromised but not to any great extent. No more than if you had a dog guard in your other car.I have yet to use it for a long journey but at the moment it certainly makes a difference.I personally think it looks the part as well. You will not be disappointed.

Overpriced for what it is.Came with a storage bag which must have doubled the price. Why?I would not recommend it, but there doesn't seem to be other options.

As the time has come to remove my hard top now that the winter has, hopefully, toddled off for the next eight months, I decided to try this Wind Deflector as most reviews consider it to be an improvement on the small original offering. It has to be said , it is very much an improvement and my wife says that she can now get rid of the head-scarf and base-ball hat, neither of which were ever in her top " must wear" list. So, I've won some Brownie Points. As some might say, " That's well good, innit ? "Well done MX5parts for a great service.
