1st Class Service and quality. Great addition to the car. Purchased in May 2011. Excellent all year round benefit if to be used in the UK. Used frequently throughout the sumer of 2011. Equally as good in the Winter. Seems expensive but you'll wonder what you did without it!

The "variable intermittent wiper upgrade" is definitely a must have for everyone living in a rainy country. Combined with quality wiper blades, it's a great add-on to every MX-5 Mk3. I could not drive anymore without it. Don't be afraid if you're not handy with tools : it's so easy to install, you just need a screwdriver and no more than 5 minutes !

A must have for any modern car. What were Mazda thinking of ? They have this part in their inventory and do not even offer it as an accessory. It is a perfect match for the original stalk, takes only five screws to be removed and replaced to complete the job and takes no more than five minutes. A must have! Thoroughly recommend this genuine Mazda product.

After a long wait for the item to come into stock, its proved very useful on the road. It was very easy to fit and I even managed to sell the old switch gear on ebay !

Excellent. Part arrived on time (thank you Post Office) good reporting of pre-shippment from MX5parts, very good communication. The switch fitted, my only problem being the removal of the three screws holding the binnacle and finding just where the clip holding the electric connector into the existing switch was!NB Screw removal was a problem due to my poor screwdrivers.Finding the clip being down to common sense and not rushing the job.Job done within 1/2 hour including time to sort out my tool box !!!Now about to order a second one for my wife's Red MX5 Mk3

Got this part on a visit down to the Mx5parts shop and was fitted in about 10 minutes great fitting for the car, one thing that did happen is that when i turned back on the ignition and started the car the DSC traction control etc warning light came on this was fixed by turning on ignition then turn steering wheel clockwise then anti clockwise maybe i should have disconnected the battery!

After 2 years of ownership and moaning to everyone how a spectacular car is let down by the simplest of features, I was perusing my MX5 Parts catalogue and found what I'd been looking for! Rather pricey for what it is but it's a genuine part so it's inevitably going to be expensive :-( However, I warranted spending the money by the fact I'd use it quite often and ordered. Super fast delivery as usual and just spent my lunchbreak at work fitting it. All that's needed as other people have said is a Philips screwdriver to remove the three screws holding the steering cowling on, easy. The part is held into the column with two more Philips screws and then slides out of the assembly easily. I managed to get mine out leaving the interface connector in place and then removing once it was out so I could see how to do it. All you need to do is depress the plastic latch and out it pops. New one goes in reverse method. Easy peasy even for a techno-spoon like me! Well worth the investment if you, like me, feel let down that it isn't a standard fit.
