Gaz Classic Coilover KitLike the fixed height version, these coilovers have 40 different comfort settings making this kit suitable for everyday use right through to full on track days. The added bonus with the Classics, is full adjustment of the spring seat which gives up to a 35mm drop in ride height from standard. This equates to 335mm on the rear, and 325mm on the front, measured from the centre of the wheel to the bottom edge of the wheel arch. Supplied with standard springs that are rated at 350lb on the front and 250lb on the rear.The extra adjustment these coilovers offer, gives you the ability to set your vehicle up to exactly the specification you want, dependant on the type of driving you are doing.Fits all Mk2 & 2.5 models, 1998>2005

“Purchased this for my mk2.5 and had knocking noise issues straight away, fitted and setup by professionals. After some diagnostics and discussions with both mx5parts and Gaz it appears the mounting on the mk2.5 can be problematic and are different from the mk2. Tried various methods to resolve it and a little conflicting information at times, but either way Gaz where fantastic and replaced the kit with Gold Pro's and paid the garage fees.”

“1st of i have to say great piece of kit, second from what ive heard in a few reviews the knocking that you get normaly comes from the bushes being worn as i had the same problem even before i put new chocks on.only thing i have noticed is that even with the chocks measured perfect from one side to the other one side still sits about a centemeter lower than the other as im not sure how to measure up each side s currently trying to figure that one out.but i have to say after a year or so of having these fitted they still work great and im still adjusting them slightly to get the perfect ride for me. but as with these i would also recomend getting polybushes all round and front and rear strut braces and chasis braces after these mods the car drive like a dream and sticks to the road like glue.A definite buy if you want a better ride.only problem i do have is that one of the rear springs started to squeek after 6 months or so but that may be because i compressed it to much thats why i gave it 4 stars instead of five so could of been my fault and not the part.”

“seems as if the knocking noises are a problem by more than me! considering the solution that was given to me by this site was that i had had the suspension fitted wrong! i think not!! i had the spacers provided also but to no avail! i got so annoyed i sold the shocks then the mazda and ended up on 2 wheels!! thats how much i was damaged by this issue!!”
