Ok. After 3 years on the car, the stainless steel is still holding up well, but the welds are beginning to crack. I had one of the first adapters made for the Roadster, which succeeded in misaligning the rest of the exhaust, causing bad wear to the PPF. Since then, I have dumped this part, and fitted a 440mm cat. The manifold also causes the exhaust to hang very low, so watch out on lowered cars. Whereas previously, the leading edges of the chassis rails might have caught speedbumps, with this manifold fitted, the exhaust might clip things as well.

I recently purchased and installed the ss manifold. Delivery fantastic. Easy to install. I had to leave off the stabilising bracket to the gearbox as it got in the way of the oxygen sensor. The product is is very well made from heavy duty stainless steel and professionally welded, it looks very nice. You have to address the heat problem as there is no heat shield and it is very close to the air filter. I have a KNN conversion and always wondered what to do with the cold air pipe. I have fitted the air pipe to the underside of the bonnet directly behind the passenger side headlamp. I have modified the trim behind the lamp with a small cutout. The gap behind the lamp is sufficient to allow enough air to flow through the pipe.Fix the pipe to the underside of the bonnet with cable ties. It's easy and only takes a few minutes. Another way is to fix a heat shield around the filter. A little more complex.Overall a nice piece of kit. I notice some improvement in performance...birdseye.
