“I'm not entirely sure these are a straight swap for the mk2. The ones on my car (1998 jap mk2) have a metal housing and guides different to the originals, which means the lock doesn't fully engage. In order for it to do so the metal rods leading to the door lock needing to be not clipped into their guides. There *is* a guide on one of the forums as to how to dremmel and hack them to work perfectly but it's not an ideal situation and for £45 I would want this to be better.”

“If I can fit them then anyone can! All you need to know is how to take the door trim off.1. Remove door release cup ( 1 screw)2. Undo 2 screws which go through the door handle3. Remove the 3 trim clips.4. Gentle tug at bottom of trim5. Lift off from top clipsThe rest is easy. The only tools I needed was 2 differant size phillips screwdrivers.”

“Ordered on Saturday received Tuesday, having read all the reviews was well armed to fit the handles, was much more straightforward than I had I had thought. No need to change the cable fixings on th handle all went together ver well... yet another first class addition excelent service again from MX5 Parts”

“An original Mazda part, looks great and should have been on there in the first place. Takes 15-20 minutes to fit but take great care not to damage the plastic bushes on the cable pulls.”
