“Totally wrong for my Mk3.5. Had to reuse the old one. Will have to buy from Mazda next time.Editors Note: Sorry to hear you have experienced problems with this. We have been back and double checked the Mazda part number and this washer is the correct one for the original oil sump plug for all Mk2, Mk2.5, Mk3 & Mk3.5 models from 1998 on. The only different washer available is for the 1989>1998 Mk1, so it is possible you were sent one of those by mistake. A member of the sales team will be in touch soon to sort out a refund or replacement.”

“I bought some oil filters and sump drain plug washers for my Eunos Roadster Mk 2 but the washers did not fit the filler plug. My advice is not to assume that the Mk 2 washer will fit your Mk 2 filler plug. Unfortunately the only way to find out the size of the washer is to take the plug out, draining the oil and hope that the washer can be re-used. I was lucky that I could use the old washer as it was in very good condition. On subsequent oil changes I will know that I need the Mk 1 washer. The internal hole measures 17mm and external diameter is 25mm. The Mk 2 washer is smaller and measures internal hole 14mm and external diameter 20mm. I hope that this advice helps other MX5/Eunos owners.”
