“I put two coats onto my 2023 mx5 roof. Not only just the rain just bead off the cloth but it restores the dark black colour. Highly recommended.”

“Having completed the cleaning and reviving with the Renovo applications, applying the Proofer sealedmy delight with the excellent results achieved. Many MX5 owners worry that they may damage theirhoods when cleaning but with these products, a 2" brush, an old nail brush and a couple of days of dry weather, just follow the instructions. The results are outstanding. The next day, it rained. I wentout to count the beads of rain but they kept running off ! QED.”

“After fitting a new mohair hood nearly two years ago I realised it was getting a little grubby and not beading the water properly I gave it a full workover over 4 days with the Renovo cleaner, two coats of Renovo Reviver and finally two coats of Ultra Proofer. Pricey product but the result is a brand new looking hood that puts the one on my boss' Audi to shame! The second coat of proofer is a bit harder to apply as it tends to run off the first coat somewhat, but work it well in with the brush and be prepared to use a but more and you'll be delighted with the result.”

“I have the blue mohair hood and this product works well with it. I used the Renovo cleaner first (see review on same) and then applied this the next day. It darkens the hood a bit but looks well for it. Used about a quarter bottle for the hood. I think the amount stated on the bottle might be for larger 4 seater convertibles like saabs etc.”

“Very good product, very easy to apply aslong as you got a good quality brush.. The top is now water resistant and looks much blacker.. Very happy with the results.. Will most definately use Renovo again.. And of course, MX5parts what can I say.. Usual super speed delivery.. Ordered late Thursday night arrived early today (Saturday).Cheers guys :)”
