“The smile is back on my face, ordered this over the last bank holiday weekend but due to low stocks had to wait longer than usual, but was kept up to date with progress via emails form MX5parts, the wait was worth it. Fitted in about 45 mins, instruction are very good. I had one fitted to my previous MK1 so i was aware of the difference it would make, the sound is fantastic. Only one gripe though Pipercross have changed the style of the filter from the very nice sculptured one in your picture to a plain cone shape, that's a shame, but it still does the same job. Looking forward to going through the Dartford tunnel on my way to work on Monday.”

“As mentioned previously simple to fit with good instructions. Makes a pleasant sporty noise when you put your foot down, no noticeable increase in power. Excellent service from MX5 parts as usual, If you want your 5 to have a sports sound without waking the neighbours every time you go out buy it.”

“DANISH/DANSK: Dette er et rigtig fornuftigt luftfilter til prisen! Den giver en rigtig lækkert "sprød" lyd når der trykkes på pedalen. Jeg fornemmer dog ikke nogen forandring i motorens ydelse. Det er nemt at montere filteret, og det kræver ikke den store viden. Den sidste stjerne kunne gives, hvis kvaliteten på produktet var mere lækkert, og at ydelsen på motoren forøges (som lovet i beskrivelsen). - Anbefales herfra!”

“Excellent in every way. Delivery was practically instant, installation was fairly straightforward (even for a mechanical numpty like me!), and my Mk 2 California now gives a lovely throaty growl when I touch the throttle. Haven't noticed a massive improvement in performance as haven't taken it out of town & given it the beans yet, but well worth it just for the noise alone!Massive kudos to MX5 parts.”

“Superb service from MX5 parts; very fast delivery and securely packaged. I have virtually no mechanical knowledge so I lifted the bonnet and thought I'd just have a look, matching the engine up with the diagram. Half an hour later I'd fitted the new air filter; it was that easy. I went for a long drive today and the noise is fantastic. Acceleration feels a lot faster too and the engine will easily rev to 7000RPM before the rev limiter cuts in. Overall I'd recommend one to every MX5 driver.”
