“I purchased these a month or so back and waited until it was warm enough to fit without any problems. Offside fitted perfectly, but the nearside was a different story. The top part for some reason would not adhere, but by this time it was too late to pull apart as the rest had stuck firm. There was double sided tape on this part, but just would not adhere no matter how much pushing together. In the end I had to resolve to filling this area with clear silicon otherwise over time water and grit would have gotten between and caused problems. I had thoroughly cleaned surfaces with alcohol and trial fitted a few times before fitting so that was not the case, I think it was just bad tape with not adhesion.For the look I would give them 5/5, but for my problems only 2/5”

“Soddisfatto di questa modifica, si montano in pochi minuti e aderiscono abbastanza bene, assegno 4 stelle solo perchè l'adesivo 3m preinstallato internamente non garantiva a mio parere una tenuta ottimale nel tempo, ho risolto utilizzando un filo di colla epossidica bicomponente, ora fa prima a staccarsi l'intero gruppo ottico che la cover! Comunque molto belle!”

“1st Class Service and Product from the MX5 Team. The main thing with any M3 adhesive mouldings is to ensure area is clean, then it is all so very easy. Fitting this part is very simple, just ensure you aline it correctly and press home. ps: I always preheat the area and the part before the final fit.”

“Excellent. Look great on True Red. They really complete the rear view & others who have seen them agree. No instructions but followed advice on site to clean the light surround with white spirit & warm up the adhesive tape with a hair drier. Stuck immediately & have survived torrential rain storm with no problem.”
