“First impressions are not good. The quality is nowhere near the standard of the original. However, the biggest issue is the lack of metal clips that require the vents to be correctly embedded in the dashboard.For the sake of a few pennies, it is abysmal that these require a cannibalisation of the original product to be correctly fitted.Will seriously think twice about all IL Motorsport products in future.”

“great addition to the rest of the dash chrome easy to fit took 5 minutes and you can reuse the clips you may just have to bend them a little bit so the vents dont pop out.”

“The demister vents look good but come with no instructions. I fitted them by using an o-ring hook to lift the old one up and then usea flat piece of metal to clear the vent out of the dash. To use the old clip lift up the claw of the clip and rock it back and forth.You may have to trim the dash to fit the new vents with a blade.”

“these look fantastic, and easy to fit, no need for the clip off the old ones, just a little glue. If you use the clip and the desired look has not been achieved, then you will spoil the chrome removing them, just do a dry run fitting them, then if happy just apply a little bond it and press for a few seconds, these look great with thee other chrome fittings.service from the mx5 parts guys was second to none, cheers.”

“after reading other reviews about these I went ahead and bought them anyway glad I didI already had the clips off the old ones and fitted them no problem they sure do make a differenceand fit in well with all the other chrome parts i have fitted another fast delivery from mx5 well done team”

“This is another IL Motorsports product and comes with no instructions. They are chromed plastic and appear somewhat brittle, unlike the ones that you have to remove. The originals are held in place by a clip in the centre of the blunt end. The tapered end, which faces towards the front of the car has an 'under the watermark' projection so to speak. Therefore, to remove the old one you need to prise it up from the rear until free of the clip, then slide it back to relase it. The clips need to be retrieved and added to the shiny new ones, it seems 35 quid is not enough to cover the cost of new clips! I had to bend the clips a bit until I got the new ones to click into place and not pop back up again.I give two stars because 1) no instructions, 2) no new clips 3) price/ value”
