“Is this part for a right hand drive car or a left hand drive? My MX5 of 1991 has the key lock on the right side and not on the left. Please inform me if you have the right part!”

“Once installation is finished looks like the genuine part, the glass material should be more durable than original, - particularly the upper flange. Kit comes with 2 rectangular plastic lens plate lamps & is also marked for locating original Mazda lamps. As you have a choice, there is no lamp cut-out or screw location holes. It is an awkward place to cut as you are basically working in the plate recess, so will take a bit of patience unless you have some nimble cutting tools. I elected to cut in the 2 supplied lamps and this leaves the upper flange much stronger than the original. In my experience this is the typical weak point. The panel is attached by studs of greater diameter than original (5/32 ?, 4 nuts required & not supplied). The attachment studs do not float per original. So any adjustment means elongation of the holes in rear panel, but not difficult. So certainly consider the panel providing your prepared to be a bit on the handy man side. If you are aware of above efforts required, them 4/5.”
