New! Door Central Locking Kit!
This system coverts key only operated door locks to remote contolled. Supplied with two door lock actuators, control relay, two remotes, wiring harness and all the required fittings and instructions. The kit is also now supplied with two specially formed metal strips to help mount the acuators into Mk1 models (Please note, if you are fitting this kit to a Mk2 you will need to supply your own).

“After seeing central locking kits on eBay that weren't vehicle specific - I chose to go with the MX5 Parts kit as it came with brackets to fit the doors on my NA. The brackets are excellent but the rest of the kit is identical to the Ebay kits - although eBay ones come with 4 acctuators, so you would have one to operate the boot and have a spare. What was really disapointing the instructions are just generic fitting instructions written in a mixture of directly translated Chinese to English & a German language wiring diagram. There were no screws included to fix the acctuators to the brackets and the pop rivets supplied were junk - they just snapped while being tightend. So I needed to supply all of that hardware myself. In conclusion this kit isn't worth the extra cost over the eBay one - I would of hoped for the money charged it would be supplied complete and had some MX5 specific instructions.”

“I fitted the Lanbo Central Locking Kit to my Mk1 In 2021 and it has worked faultless. I decided this year to wire up the boot release, so it works on the remote. I have used one of the spare poster motors and a Halfords 12v Relay and it doesn't work. I am wondering if I need to obtain a different type of motor to enable the boot release to work properly? Any suggestions would be appreciated”

“I finally decided to buy this kit with some trepidation given the mostly less-than-enthusiastic reviews it has received to date. Yes, it is time-consuming to fit well, but I managed with the instructions provided, and I would describe my auto-electrical knowledge and skills as being pretty limited. Now installed, the remote central locking works brilliantly and was well worth the effort. The kit is from IL Motorsport and is an excellent, cost-effective improvement to my Eunos Roadster. There is a YouTube video from a guy in the US on how to instal this kit which is worth viewing. However he connects the control module to an external antenna. I understand why he interpreted the kit instructions in that way, but it certainly isnÆt necessary as my remote operates from some way off without it.”

“I installed it and everything is fine, but I have a problem:The remote control works in reverse. When the button to open the doors is pressed: the doors are closed. When the door close button is pressed: the doors open.How can this be solved?Could any cable have been placed wrong?”

“i installed the kit central locking doors but the main unit does not worki also tested with the manual command (this is -the two wires brown and white-)The command of opening has no resultThe command of closure locks but but the engine opens againthus it cannot close the doori beg you to pay attention for the problemi suggest you a return of the main unit for an exchangebecause my car is waiting hardlythis is painfull and expansive”
