“These mats unfortunately absolutely stink of a very very strong rubber smell which is very overpowering so I cannot put them in the car. I am hoping that leaving them outside for a very long time it might disperse but I am not confident. I am therefore very disappointed.”

“Purchased these mats for the wet winter months to keep my nice special edition ones clean and dry for the summer. Have to say they are absolutely superb. A great fit and heavyweight so they don't moved once fitted to the standard slots in the car.Can't recommend them enough.The (slight) rubber odour soon disappears but even so it's not unpleasant.”

“The mats came the next day as per MX5 Parts usual service.There are without doubt the best rubber mats that I have ever had in any car.God quality rubber and the fit was bang on.They actual look good in the car and will keep the winter grime at bay.”

“Bought these mats in April 2016 for my Mk 4 MX5. They are well made from durable material and fit perfectly. But there is a problem: they have an obnoxious rubber smell which is overpowering. I complained to to MX5 parts who replied that the smell would disappear in a few days. Four months later the vile smell is still there. The material that these mats are made of is not suitable for the confined interior of a small car. NOT RECOMMENDEd!!!!!”
