U Shape Stainless Steel Roll Over BarsManufactured from massive 60mm Stainless Steel tubing these bars are fantastic quality. Although we do not warrant these as 'Roll-Over Protection Equipment', they are clearly extremely solid and will offer far more protection than any of the cheaper 'style bars'. (The product liability insurers will not allow anyone to sell a bar as a warrantied 'roll-over' bar for the obvious reasons!) The quality of these bars has to be seen to be believed! No other bar available in the UK comes even close for style or quality.Now TUV certified for use all over Europe!Fits all Mk1/2 & 2.5 models, 1989>2005Fitting Instructions

“Amazing single day delivery, which arrived 20 minutes before the tracker time. Good start. I am a DIY disaster, so was a little daunted about drilling holes in my pride and joy. However, I bit the bullet, and the whole thing was fitted within an hour without incident. Looks great, and as an added bonus, the car feels tighter - must get some strut braces now!”

“Ordered on a Friday afternoon and on my doorstep Monday morning - splendid! Excellent quality, including the welds, and a perfect fit. Yes, the instructions were a bit vague - just read them carefully and it's all pretty obvious. Took about 40 mins to fit and that included looking for the drill bit that I'd mislaid”

“This is an absolute bitch to fit, after reading the reviews I rang MX5 parts and was told that the unit they used to fit was the bad one?For the life of me I cannot fit the wind blocker with the parts supplied so it will fold flat and allow the roof to be raised and lowered when the roll bar is fitted, and two of the tonneau connectors ( normally used for the windblocer have had to be removed.As the reviews state, the instructions are very poor.However, as the reviews also state, it really looks the part.”

“Again ordered over a weekend and delivered to my place of work following Tuesday, excellent service as before. Instructions not bad except needed 15mm spanner not 13 for belt anchor bolt. Washers missing from parts supplied but had some anyway. Took about hour and half to fit, fixing lug bent out of true but pulled down when tightened. Really looks the "dogs you know what" now fitted. Would not have bought at original price but reduced offer well worth while.”

“Bought two years ago, was going to sell car so kept for new one. Well, you need a full day or two. Lines up bad, instuctions are not the best, the M10 bolts are not long enough, no point to call MX5 parts for a new one to replace, as committed once first holes are drilled, as it states in the instruction. The welds are not the cleanest, it does however look great once in, but if it doesn't slot in straight away, send it back before drilling. A major positive though, was installing in the sun, it stays cool to the touch, even in direct sunlight. Sorry MX5 parts for not giving you a chance to rectify, but I didn't think you'd entertain a return 2 years on...”

“Excellent product, well built and looks excellent. I paid MX5Parts to install it for me which saved any possible hassle with mis-fitting parts and they also looked out the best one they had in stock for me as they had a coupe with scratches.If you don't mind haning around for a couple of hours, get it fitted, completely hassle free then!”

“A great bit of kit now it is fitted LOKS GREAT l. What a "PIG" to fit though, holes had to be redrilled and the windbreaker had to be modified to fit as well. After the all effort the effect was worth the work envolved. Please Mx5parts have a word with your supplier to improve the fit!”
