“I'm no mechanic but was able to fit this in a couple of minutes. There's not a lot of space in the MX-5 engine bay but it's not a difficult job. As long as you've got realistic expectations of what a good air filter can do then this is money well spent. My 2009 1.8 is never going to rip up the road but it does feel a little more willing and responsive with this filter fitted. £38 well spent.”

“Nice product, if its time to change your original mazda filter, K&N filter is a choice.Not very much diference thouth (horsepower or noise) , just a little torgue rise up.10+ day of delivery time to Greece.thanks”

“Dont hesitate even for a second! I have seen huge difference from 4000rpm and willingness of the enginee to work on more than 5500rpm in comparison to the genuine filter. For the money is the first thing we should be changing to the car. I wasted 3 years by hesitating... Great service from mx5parts as usual.”

“Easy to fit, once you work out which way up it goes (doh!). Sounds a little throatier, but barely noticable and pick-up in gear is better and engine seems to rev more freely. Still, worth the money since it lasts forever and is easier to fit than a full induction kit. MX-5parts is now also the cheapest place to buy it from!”

“Fast 3 days delivery to Greece, excellent quality product.The engine noise didn't increase at all and the torque increased slightly between 1500-3000 rpm!No horsepower increase though...for 53€ it is a good modification for your miata!”

“This filter is really easy to fit no changes to original spec, people should realise that mk3 has a cold air supply so there is no requirement for major induction change. Remember you have to release the hose that runs bach from the air box, by the way remove the bolt and nut because when they fall the lower engine protection panel has to be removed to retrieve the lost property. Nice performance change as this car is very tourguey.Gear change becomes weird, looking for 7th & 8 th gears. Auto exe pipes and double silencers really help to move this lovely car.”
