Customise your engine bay and add a classic touch with this handle for your dipstick created by I.L Motorsport. The handle comes with a choice of Red or Black writing, please make a selection from the drop down list.
Installation is very simple and requires you to reuse the small pin and lower part of the OEM dipstick.
Fits all Mk3, 3.5 & 3.75 models, 2005>2015, and all Mk4 & RF models, 2015>
Please Note: On Mk3 models, these will only fit the newer revised dipstick, not the original wire one.

“The dip stick handle looks good in place of the basic factory handle. The problem is that the essential o ring is not supplied. Supplier says reuse the o ring from the basic handle. This is a)a faff and b)a risk of damaging the o ring with debris ending up in the engine. Size of o ring is not stated so trial and error to find the right one.”

“MX5PARTS should update their description of this part. For anyone interested in knowing this is an all metal handle and not coloured plastic (which of course it should be for the price) very nicely made and will compliment my billet alloy oil cap nicely!”

“Beautiful addition to the engine bay - but just make sure that you have a FLAT dipstick - not the round wire original - before you shell out for this one. I didn't - and now I'm trying to find on here in Sydney, which is so far a forlorn hope!”
