This flexible silicone joint courtesy of IL Motorsport replaces the original hose between the air box and the intake manifold. It cause far less interuption in the air flow due to having fewer ribs, the result being not only improved throttle response, but they look pretty good too! Available in either black, blue or red. Please choose which colour you prefer from the drop down box.
Fits all 1.5L Mk4 models, 2015> including the 2016> RF.

“Probably not a performance upgrade but cosmetically a vast improvement on the ghastly stock unit and well worth installing alongside a sound tube delete. Being an IL Motorsport product it’s top quality and a great fit.”

“Firstly, this is my second IL Motorsport of Germany product, and the thing that most impresses, is the manufacturing quality. Not that i needed a replacement Inlet Hose for my two year old MX5, but over the years, rubber hoses do dry out, crack, and need replacement, and once a silicon hose is used, it will outlast the life of the car. Maybe not an outright bargain, but the manufacturing quality is impressive, and once you have fitted this inlet hose, you can forget about it, knowing it will no doubt breathe better than the original item, and never need replacing again. In that respect, its a worthy addition to your MX5 and is very much worth buying”

“Bought this on spec not expecting anything. Install is 15 mins. Brightens the engine bay. Surprised there seems to be a small throttle response bonus which is very welcome. Great stuff.”
