“I purchased this kit last year in the white and I must say how pleased I am with it. The fitting was simple and for all the reviews saying how difficult it was you really should have got someone more competent to fit it for you. Remove the passenger side kick plate, unplug the 2 loom plugs and solder the wires in to the colours the instructions say, drilling was easy and they are a great piece of kit.”

“I finally got round to fitting this now that my car is no longer under warranty. As other reviewers have said, this is a bit tricky to fit. The supplied graphical instructions are very difficult to follow and the information provided is a bit limited. For example, you have to tap into existing wiring using 'scotch lock' type connectors, but the instructions only point to the general direction of the wiring loom and don't explain how to properly locate and disconnect the correct connector block in the confined space of the footwell. You also have to drill two large holes to accommodate the LEDs in the footwell plastic trim. As another reviewer said, it would have been nice if this kit had been 'plug & play'. Whilst the outcome is really pleasing with much improved interior lighting, I couldn't recommend this kit for DIY fitting unless you were reasonably confident dabbling with cars. Overall, a very nice outcome, but challenging to fit first time round.”

“Appears to be quite involved to fit and I dont really want to use scotchlocks on my brand new car to attach the lights. The trim requires a 27mm hole to be drilled with a holesaw also. I may get round to fitting it, but quite disappointed this wasnt a plug and play affair given its genuine mazda and the high cost.”

“Don't believe the Mazda instructions within the box. The diagrams are poor and the cable blocks fixed within their holders are extremely difficult to get at and work on. Took an age to work it out but the lights add a nice touch to the foot wells.”
