“My Mk1 unfortunately failed its MOT due to corroded brake pipes! Checked on MX5 Parts and found exactly what was needed at a good price, decided to replace the hoses too so ordered and the set was delivered when advised just waiting for the rain to stop before fitting and taking for the re test!”

“Although sold as being compatible with the MX5, these hoses are fractionally too short and don't have the hooks to keep them located on the caliper. Have now had two of them fail on two different cars as they undo themselves. They also cut into the brake line as they are designed to fit a larger diameter brake pipe”

“I cannot recommend these. The lack of a pin to locate the banjo joint means it is possible to fit these incorrectly. Despite twice refitting them, I cannot align them correctly such that they do not rub on tight cornering. I will be ditching the front set for OEM”

“Danger of Death! Unlike OEM part these does not feature the hooks which prevents correctly torqued banjo bolts from undoing itself under driving loads. This leads to immediate critical brake failure (loosing all the brake fluid trough undone aft banjo botl). Goodluck with that in the Alps road...”
