Finally we have managed to source a local UK supplier who can produce aerosol paint for us, perfectly colour matched in all the MX5 body colours! Each one is supplied in a 400ml spray can and has been matched to the original Mazda colour code. Some of the Mk1 colours were a single pack cellulose paint, and some were a base coat with clear lacquer on top. Please note, that if your colour is listed in the drop down box as "Requires Lacquer" you will also need to order an additional can of lacquer as well.Suitable for all Mk1 models, 1989>1998Please Note: Due to airline restrictions on the transportation of dangerous goods, we are unable to send these aerosols outside of the UK. Any orders recieved outside of these areas will be cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

This rattle can is perfect if you got some experience with spray paints. I had to repaint my front bumper after the wind blew it away while i was working on the car, the whole thing got scratched and i had to do something. So I sanded the bumper with 400 and then with 1200 make the surface ready, primed it and sanded again to smooth down any imperfections, a nice clean up and gave it 3 coats of this laguna blue for my 1994 S-Spec Eunos. The color match is amazing the bumper looks brand new again and after a month of rain, dust and any things that you could receive on your bumper by driving in the uk roads, the paint seems like is behaving as it should, no flaking, no stone chips or any issues. Great to do touch ups like this or if you wanna risk it you could even paint the whole car.

i have noticed that you have changed your spray can supplier. I have to say that the coverage of the new cans is very poor compared to the previous make that you were selling. I did a repair on one of my doors and used a primer coat to spot cover the repairs. I then used the new spray can and emptied the whole can trying get the finish I wanted on the top half of the door. I could not make the primer disappear and you would normally be able to do this. Especially with the cans produced by your previous paint supplier. I am very disapointed and have to hand over my car to a body shop to get the high level finish I expect from myself. I cannot attached a photo because the 'show through' can only be seen in certain light condtions. It would also I think be virtually impossible to photogaph the problem

Very poor and dissapointing customer service from Mark & the MX5 Parts customer services team. 2 weeks later.. and I still yet to receive my product that I orderd. If you are after the same product, worth getting it off on Ebay instead. More reliable.

Bought this to fix up some paint on my 93 Eunos (Colour code HU) and this just does not match, it's way off the mark. It's not even close so now I have to stripping the entire panel and spraying it or getting it professionally done.

Bought the British Racing Green spray, lacquer not required, however it has a matt finish so doesn't match the original at all. Should it have lacquer applied to give it some gloss?

Tested one can of 3L Silver Stone, using primer and top coat, came out pretty good. However I did change the cap on the can, I used a wide spray cap, perfect for even coats.
