Price is OK but less than a year after fitting it it seems to be leaking. I put silicone on the corners like you should and torqued it all in the correct sequence to the correct torque. Could only be the part really.

Leaks after just a few months. I'll buy the OEM one next time.

Definitely would not reccomend, in less than a year this gasket was seeping oil out of the sides. Learn from my mistakes and go for a genuine Mazda gasket.

I fitted this aftermarket gasket a year ago, and have found that by now, with even just normal driving, there is constantly oil weeping out both sides of the top - intake and exhaust side. When driving hard the oil smell is profound. This gasket did not last even a full service interval, compared to the OEM gasket which I replaced 8 years in a row.

After changing this gasket twice I realised how bad the quality it was. Not recommended at all for motorsports or spirited driving, you may get away with normal driving but still it doesn't seal properly like the oem does.

I bought this gasket when I replaced the cam belt last summer 2014. I'm afraid it didn't seal properly and allowed a light weep of oil down the block. It got to the point (after several months) where the build up started to drip off the under tray onto my drive. Now replaced with a genuine Mazda gasket which is perfect.

A very well made gasket - mine went straight into place on the cam cover and then neatly over the top of the rocker box. The rubber compound appears to be top quality, pliable and elastic, yet tough.
