These high quality, fully aluminium performance radiators from IL Motorsport are a must for any performance enhanced MX5. Tried and tested in the European race series, these are simply put one of the best radiators available. Design to be a direct replacement for the standard unit, they simply bolt in using all the existing mounting points, and can be used with either the standard fan unit, or our upgraded high pressure fan kit. Available in two options. The standard 42mm core with a 50mm tank, or for greatly increased cooling capacity we also have the 50mm core with a 60mm tank. Made from the highest quality polished aluminium, they not only offer unrivelled cooling performance, but they also brighten up the engine bay too! “Fitted the 50mm , easy fit , the bottom receivers are not in line , probably because it's a 94 EUNOS , it's not a major problem . I just need to drill the holes on the lower brackets and it will be fine , top fixings were perfect . it's held solid . fans needed to e fitted after rad. installation as a bit tight to lower the assembly in with fans fitted . GREAT RAD. LOOKS GREAT TOO”

“Fitment was pretty bad had to modify the brackets as both were 10-12mm out. Also had to chop off the bracket that was meant to hold the hose to the expansion tank as it was the wrong size and was so sharp it would have cut through the hose within a few miles.”

“Despite being larger than the OEM one, this radiator was easy to fit. A second fan can be added althought some wiring work must be done. Nice part, looks good and do the job.”

“Fitted a 50 core to my mk1 1.8 today. Quality of the rad is great and fits in perfect as does the fan. However the resonating chamber on my crossover pipe had to be removed and blanked off for it to fit so anyone getting a 50 core please bear that in mind. A”
