“Excellent service from MXparts. Rear light unit arrived day after ordering - and emails kept me informed of progress.Unit is easy to install. Took me about one hour working alone. Two people (one holding the plastic boot liner away from the work area) would make it much quicker. Remove boot carpet completely. Remove the access door to the jack storage compartment (you'll need to put your hand through the opening to work on one of the fixing bolts). Remove the two plastic liner retaining clips (they are arranged vertically on either side of the boot lock) which are adjacent to the light unit you are replacing. No need to remove any other clips. No need to actually remove any liner panels. If working alone, get some soft material (I used an old curtain) and make it into a big ball. Force it between the boot liner and the boot top edge rim to open a gap and give you access into the area behind the lamp. Remove the turn/click lamp holders. Remove three nuts. Remove old unit. Fit new unit. Tip - don't pull the new lamp unit into position by tightening the fixing nuts. It can put a lot of strain on the bolt/lens unit joint if the new lamp needs a bit of force to get it seated in position. Best to place a big cleaning sponge over the new lens unit and push it fully into position from the outside. When it's fully seated in position, tighten the fixing bolts from the inside.”
