“Solid metal. Got this to compliment the heater control knob rings. It's pretty full on and will probably have to get the radio knob rings to balance things out a bit. It's my intention to get the chrome round gear knob, so the look should come together. Bit tricky to fit. Surprised others haven't mentioned it. Take time to line the thing up and get it right. I imagine if you set it wonky, it will annoy the h*ll out of you!”

“**please note. This item also fits Mk 3.5 model** Received this item today and fitted within 20 seconds. Carefully lined it up against control knobs and pressed firmly into place. I have a Kuro 3.5 (2012 model) . It really does improve the interior and its metal not plastic. Very satisfied.”

“Superb, I thought this trim might be a bit much with the button trims but it looks fantastic and goes so well with the chrome heater and radio button trim. Really finishes the dash off nicely. I would not say it's an essential fitting but it does compliment all the other trim nicely. Easy to fit too and lovely quality. 5 stars. Andy”

“Got these. Are the quarterlight inside trims, air vent balls,demister surrounds, door handle cups and doorcup holder trims ever likely to be made available in SATINfinish to enable my update to be completed ? Mixing thesatin with the chrome really does not do it for me !”

“I ordered this surround to match the control knob covers, both in satin finish. Easy ton fit, ensure you clean the area with the cleaner provided, remove tap cover and gently position in place. Once happy press firmly and its done. If you are thinking of ordering this, it looks 10x better with matching control knobs. Also MX5 parts are extremely quick on delivery!”

“Thought this was the wrong shape when it arrived but no it was perfect, just me being a twit. Easy to fit, would advise a quick heat up of the stickies with the hair dryer this helps the rings get a really good grip. Top product and enhances the heater controls.”
